Be ''Entrepreneurs for a Day''

acton_cbfOn July 16, 2016 Northwest Liberty Academy (NWLA) introduced a new program in cooperation with the Acton Academy schools and the Acton MBA program out of Austin, Texas. The Treasure Valley Children’s Business Fair is offered to qualifying children ages six to fourteen years old and allows them the opportunity to experience being an “Entrepreneur for a Day.”

Participants learn:

  • How to present their ideas (intellectual property) for a product and/or service
  • How to determine consumer interest and product viability (Research and Development)
  • Cost of materials supplies (Capital investment)
  • Offering their product and/or service to consumers (Risk/Marketing)
  • The cost advantages and possible disadvantages of doing business (Profit and Loss)
